Parivarthana Free Health checkups Camp

Free Monthly Mental Health Check-up Camp at Kota

Parivartana Rehabilitation Center and Manasmita Foundation Kota organised free monthly mental health check-up and drug distribution camp. Free Monthly Mental Health Checkup Camp organised by Parivartana Rehabilitation Center and Manasmita Foundation, Kota was held at Kota on 07.02.2024. Entrepreneur and Doctor Satish Poojari inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp, expressing his views that drug addicts should be free from addiction.

Dr. Prakash C Tolar, Medical Director of Parivartan Kendra, said that the purpose of this camp is to help the person in difficulty and also said some words about the mental stress caused by the youth who are more prone to drugs. The program was presided over by Dr. Satish Pujari, Director of Parivarthana Kendra.

Manasmita Foundation Directors Mrs. Savita P Tolar and Neha S Pujari were present. Ranjitha, Manager of the organization, presented the program, Rakshita and Monika, counselors welcomed the program.

Manasmita Foundation organized a Free Monthly Mental Health Check-up Camp held at Parivartana Rehabilitation Center Kota on 10th January 2024. Renowned playback singer Rameshchandra, inaugurated the Health Checkup Camp by lighting the lamp. He said every patient should take advantage of the camp and build a better and healthier society. Chief guest Dr. Pushwindhar Dhun Puth, Physician at Shri Mata Hospital, said that all the patients should get benefit of the Health Check-up camp.

Dr. Prakash C Tolar, Medical Director of Parivarthana Kendra said Heath camp should be benefit the economically backward and those suffering from mental diseases. Dr. Satish Poojari, Director of Parivartan Kendra, who presided over the program, said that the free drug distribution camp should more beneficial to the poor people and the youth should engage their minds in creative activities like music and literature.

Manasmita Foundation Director Mrs. Savitha P Tolar and Neha S Poojari were present, Counsellor Bhumika Shetty presented the program, and Manager Ranjitha welcomed the program.

Parivarthana and Manasmitha Foundation is dedicated to improvement of mental health care through programs that depend less on medications and more on engaging families and communities in addressing the stigma of mental illness. In order to reach out to the needy, the Foundation connects with the well wishers, philanthropists Social organizations, NGOs and charitable institutions to bring recovery–based care and support to every community. The Foundation seeks to change the perceptions, opinions that prove to be harmful for the persons who are afflicted by the maladies associated with mental health, and are on the verge of despair, for their inability to be part of the society.

The Foundation continually associates with the afflicted persons and their families, guiding them and nurturing them in their pursuit of normal life. The Foundation conducts more than 50 free Medical Health Check-up Camps, Counseling sessions at various rural places, schools, institutions and other NGOs, throughout the year.

Parivarthana and Manasmitha foundation jointly organised the 39th free checkup camp and distribution of medicine for de-addiction and rehabilitation for the local people on 02-01-2019 at Parivartana Centre at Kota. Mr. Dinesh Bangera, General Manager, West Coast Gas Agency, Udupi, was the chief guest and he inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Mental disorder is not a social stigma instead it should be treated well by consulting a psychiatrist.

Under the guidance of Dr. Prakash Tolar, Medical Director of Parivarthana foundation, this free camp is held every month. He also guided the poor to take good advantage of this free camp. The Director of Parivarthana foundation, Dr. Satish Poojari addressed the gathering. Smt. Savitha P Tolar was also present. Mr. Shriprasad, HR Manager, was the Emcee.

Free checkups camp at Parivarthana Kota

Mr. Harish Kunder, Vibhuja Pipe industries, was the chief guest and he inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Chief guests Mr. Vikram Prabhu and Mr. Gururaj, development Officers, LIC, Brahmavar were also present.

Under the guidance of Dr. Prakash Tolar, Medical Director of Parivarthana foundation, this free camp is held every month. He advised the poor patients to continue with their medication and take good advantage of the free camp. The Director of Parivarthana foundation, Dr. Satish Poojari addressed the gathering. Smt. Savitha P Tolar and Smt. Neha S Poojari, the directors of Manasmitha foundation, were also present. Mr. Mahesh was the Emcee.

Activities

Parivartana - Centre for Alcohol and Drug De-addiction and rehabilitation has innovative programs and follows international standards of care. The de-addiction centre team has evolved many therapeutic interventions keeping abreast with many of the professional bodies of the west and as well as India. As an individual with problem due to alcohol and drug is unique and different, the interventions are also unique to suit the needs of the individual while broadly some general programs are available. The De-addiction programs undertaken here are not compartments but they are continuum and anybody who needs De-Addiction services can fit into it while individual personal issues are addressed at confidentially personal level.
